The United States Leads, India and Turkey Continue to Grow<\/h2>\r\n

The United States still leads the world in the number of ranked universities, with 168 universities.<\/p>\r\n

India came second for the second consecutive year with 143 universities.<\/p>\r\n

Turkey continued its advance to become the third most represented country in the ranking, with its number of ranked universities reaching 124, ahead of many traditional university systems.<\/p>\r\n

In contrast, the United Kingdom fell to fifth place in the number of listed universities, with 110 universities, while Japan advanced to fourth place with 112 universities.<\/p>\r\n\r\n \r\n
