At the Arab level, Mohammed V University appears to have a notable presence, though it is not in the very top tier of Arab universities in QS.

Do not start with the university before deciding on the program.

Is it open access, selection-based, or a competitive exam?

5. Check the required documents.
6. Check the deadline.
7. Keep proof of registration.

This final step is very important because announcements differ between FSJES, FMP, FSE, ENSIAS, EST, and others.
31. Education, Research, and Innovation
The university adopts three core missions:
Education + Scientific Research + Innovation and Knowledge Transfer.
The university officially showcases Cité d’Innovation as well as knowledge valorization, patent, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship programs.

In terms of rankings, the university has a multidimensional presence: QS 2026: 1201–1400, QS 2027: 1001–1200, QS Arab 2026: 118, THE 2026: 1201–1500, U.S. News 2026: 762 per published data, CWUR 2026: 1011, Webometrics January 2026: 1529, and SCImago 2026: 4297.
As for Scientific Research as it is one of the university's most notable relative strengths; the Nature Index places it in a very advanced position within Morocco, with particular strength in the physical and natural sciences, physics, chemistry, and earth and environmental sciences, and the university also announced strong performance in U.S. News 2026 in renewable energy, engineering, physics, and chemistry.
Therefore, the fairest assessment of the university is not “Is it the best university in Morocco?” but rather: in which indicator, specialization, and research field does it excel? Current results point to a large Moroccan public university with historical weight, broad academic diversity, a strong research base, and a notable international and ranking presence, with a clearly varying position from one ranking to another.
